Executive Team

Sue McCarty, Chief Executive: Sue is the founder of Via NZ Ltd., a mother of three growing boys and a successful businesswoman in Europe and New Zealand. Sue's extensive business background includes general management, sales and marketing, professional services, operations and customer services.

Angela Jolly, Business Development Manager: Angela has recently returned to settle in New Zealand after substantial time overseas. Angela has a degree in Hospitality Management from the Auckland Institute of Technology and has had extensive experience as a Director of residential snowboard and skateboards camps in the USA. Angela comes with the knowledge and experience of working with a variety of cultures and age groups in a hospitality environment, and as Business Development Manager she brings to Via an exciting blend of creativity and expertise.

Graham Bass, Chief Operating Officer - BSc ACMA: Graham has an extensive background in business finance, commercial management and business operations. He is responsible for the operational infrastructure that supports the quality delivery of a world class personal development experience.

Bruce Herbert, Programme Director: As senior consultant with the Experiential Training Company Limited since 1988, Bruce has created and delivered a huge range of development programmes. Bruce's expertise is central to the design of the Via programmes, integrating all the elements to ensure a complete learning experience, and selecting highly-qualified tutors and coaches who have the passion to inspire and develop people.

Dr Richard Moat (RichardMoat.com), Senior Personal and Health Coach: Richard is an official partner to Via and is acknowledged as one of the world's leading coaches. He has achieved powerful results through his unique approach to identifying the keys and secrets for empowering Individuals to take control of their lives. Richard has a PhD in Clinical Hypnosis, is a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistics and the creator of Moativational Medicine (TM) - a unique model of health and healing applauded by many of the UK's leading health professionals. He also has an international sporting background spanning three decades that has been recognised by HRH The Queen. Richard's extensive background, qualifications and proven results serve as testament to his ability to coach from a position of experience, knowledge and authority.

Dr. Ed Timings, Director of Wellbeing – D.C (USA); member GCC (UK): Ed has worked as a chiropractor in the US, UK and New Zealand for 18 years, owning and running four clinics in Auckland and has dedicated two years of his time to cutting-edge diabetic research. Ed also assists at the Millennium Institute of Sport, he is chairman of Juggler Healthcare and regularly lectures at Auckland University; all reflecting his commitment to the wider issues of health and wellbeing. Ed's support team includes Dr John Mayhew, former All Black doctor and David Abercrombie, Chiropractor for Team New Zealand (New Zealand’s world renowned yachting team).

Maggie Eyre, Public Speaking Coach: Personal Coach, author (Speak Easy) and founder of the School of Performing Arts in Auckland, New Zealand, Maggie is widely known in both the business and artistic worlds for her work as a facilitator, tutor, trainer and actress. Her areas of specialty are presentation skills, media relations, image consultancy, event management and personal development. Maggie’s book “Speak Easy” is fast becoming the “must have” handbook for anyone facing a presentation or speech of any kind. She’s a very experienced and energetic presenter guaranteed to teach and entertain you with her many case studies and useful tips. Maggie counts the New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark amongst her clientele.

Paulus Romijn: Paulus' main passion has been writing and teaching, and has been widely published. Paulus has been involved in presenting, script writing, acting and teaching and since the advent of his own business venture, Studio 111, he has devised many scripts for use in the courses held there. He has had T.V., TVC, and drama experience including work on "Jack Brown Genius" by Peter Jackson, "Swiss Family Robinson", "PostBank" and "Empower" as well as numerous other television productions.

We also tap into the talents of experts in image counseling, exercise and fitness, beauty therapy, nutrition, security, pastoral care, centre management, administration and support activities.

Jane Sweeney, Advisory Board Member: Jane is a former New Zealand Trade Commissioner to France, a director of a top marketing communications agency in the United Kingdom, director of the Acumen Group of companies in New Zealand and CEO of Consultus NZ Ltd. She is now Managing Director of Porter Novelli, Asia Pacific.

Dawn Jones, Advisory Board Member: Dawn is a founding director of the Academic Colleges Group in New Zealand and a former principal of Senior College and Diocesan School for Girls.
